Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, organized a special program to celebrate International Women’s Day by celebrating the invaluable contributions and achievements of women in various fields. The program was attended by Dr. Savita Bhagat, Retired Principal of DAV Centenary College, Faridabad along with Smt. Respected academicians and social workers were welcomed. Sunita Singhal and Jayamala Tomar, who graced the occasion with their enlightening presence.
The program was presided over by Vice Chancellor Professor Sushil Kumar Tomar, in which Professor Neelam Turk, Chairperson of ICC and Women’s Cell, highlighted the importance of the celebration. Before this, Prof. Tomar and other dignitaries garlanded the statue of Jagadish Chandra Bose and viewed the students’ photo exhibition focusing on Women’s Day. Starting with the traditional lighting of the lamp, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar gave a heartfelt address giving warm wishes on International Women’s Day.
The smooth coordination of the program was facilitated by ICC members Prof. Made possible by the dedicated efforts of Dr. Lakhvinder Singh, Dr. Shailja Jain, Dr. Anuradha Pillai, D. Preeti Sethi, Ms. Renu Dagar and Ms. Aarti Singh, which ensured a memorable and impactful celebration of International Women’s Day.
