Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology celebrated the 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervor and gaiety. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar hoisted the tricolor in the university campus.
The Vice Chancellor also took the salute and addressed the gathering at an impressive march-past presented by the university security officials, NCC cadets and NSS volunteers. Before this Prof. Tomar paid tribute to the martyrs at the War Heroes Gallery in the university.
The students showcased their talent through touching songs, soul-inspiring poems and captivating dances, paying tribute to the heritage of our nation. Students of Government Middle School of Rajpur Kalan and Sehrawak were also invited to participate in the program and their performance in the function was appreciated by all.
The program was organized under the overall supervision of Dean, Student Welfare, Professor Munish Vashishtha and coordinated by Director, Youth Welfare, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Deans, Dr. Sonia Bansal, Dr. Shilpa Sethi and Dr. Harish Kumar. All the Deans, HODs, University officials, faculty members, support staff and students were present in the ceremony.
