Faridabad/Alive News : Jatin Chaudhary, a student of MA (English) of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has made the University proud by winning medals in the 65th National Shooting Championship held recently in Bhopal. Jatin Chaudhary, a student of MA (English) of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has made the University proud by winning medals in the 65th National Shooting Championship held recently in Bhopal. Jatin has won Silver Medal (Individual) in the Senior Category of the 50-meter Free Pistol event and Bronze Medal (Team) in the Senior Category 10-meter Air Pistol event.
Jatin, who is a resident of Faridabad and originally hails from Hisar district, represented Haryana in the National Championship. He was selected for the State team on the basis of his excellent performance record. Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar and Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg congratulated Jatin for his achievement and appreciated his performance for bringing laurels to the university in sports. Chairperson of the Department Prof. Dr Atul Mishra also appreciated the commendable achievement of Jatin.
Jatin missed the gold in 50-meter Free Pistol by hair’s breadth as he scored 551 out of 600 while the gold mark was 552 out of 600. Jatin asserted that he has set a target of winning gold in both the categories in the future competition.
