Faridabad/ Alive News: Krishan Janmashtami was celebrated with sheer enthusiasm at D.A.V. NH-3, NIT. A special assembly was organized in school premises.
Meanwhile, Celebration of Janmashtami began with the worship of Lord Krishna by offering him Makhan Mishri (Butter & sugar lumps) in his own Cradle by Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya, Principal of the school. Bhajan recital was performed by Muskaan of II – C & Bhavya of I – C.
Similarly, the tiny tots of L.K.G. presented a fabulous and outstanding dance which enthralled the audience and heartwarming solo dance performance was given by Kunishka of V – A. Thoughts given by Vacchi and Deepanshi of class II and followed by a Nritya Natika of classes U.KG. to IV. They were given huge round of applause and appreciated by everyone. The entire Kindergarten was dressed up as “Krishna” and “Radha” and they were looking adorable in their costumes.
The young ones also took part in traditional activity – “Matki Making with clay” in order to give tribute to Natkhat Kanha who always loved to eat stolen butter with his group of friends. The function won the heart of the audience. Students enjoyed a lot and it was one of the most memorable day.
At the end the school principal Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya appreciated the efforts of all the students & showered her blessings on all.
