As a tradition every year Janamashtami is celebrated to mark the birthday of Lord Krishna. This year too it was celebrated by the Kindergarten of DAV NH-3. There were songs and dance performed by the little ones.
Faridabad/ Alive News: A beautiful backdrop was made with little Krishna in the cradle. The programme commenced with ‘Bhog’ ceremony to Lord Krishna by the Principal Jyoti Dahiya.
The whole wing came dressed up in traditional attire. Our tiny-tots of L.K.G class presented a beautiful dance form ‘Gokul ki galiyo’ & another soul touching dance Natkhat Kanha performed by the little stars of UKG class. The teachers told the students many stories of krishna’s childhood. All the little Krishna’s and Radha’s looked adorable in their traditional costumes and the entire area was transformed into a land of joy, celebrations and happiness.
The Principal enlightened us to the origin of this celebration & reminded the students about Lord Krishna’s devotion and obedience to his master. At the end of the day photographs of children were clicked and they were served Krishna Prasad (fresh butter & kheer) for a sweet ending to the entire celebration.
