Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science & Technology week long faculty development program sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on the topic “Advancing Renewable Energy Technologies for Sustainable E-Mobility”. The Department of Electrical Engineering led this practical initiative by welcoming not only its own faculty members, but also faculty from various other universities.
The inaugural session was attended by eminent alumni of the University and D.Y. Vice Chancellor Prof. Honorable guests including Rakesh Mudgal were present. Patil Education Society (Deemed University) graced the occasion as the chief guest. Professor Bhim Singh of IIT Delhi graced the event as the guest of honour, while Vice Chancellor Professor Sushil Kumar Tomar presided over the session. In this program Dean (Institute) Prof. Sandeep Grover, Dean (FET) Prof. Raj Kumar, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Eminent personalities including Anju Gupta and other respected faculty members participated. The program was efficiently conducted by Dr. Rashmi Agarwal and Dr. Yogendra Arya.
The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a rousing rendition of the University Kulgeet. Program Coordinator Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal provided a brief description of the program, from which Prof. Anju Gupta warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. Vice Chancellor Prof. Tomar shared valuable insights into renewable energy resources, emphasizing their role in advancing sustainable e-mobility.
Chief guest Professor Rakesh Mudgal emphasized on the mandatory transition from non-renewable to renewable energy sources. He highlighted the vital importance of renewable resources and how their adoption can pave the way to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
