Faridabad/Alive News: Another form of the God is called doctor, if he engages in social works then disease never spread its feet in the whole world. Hopefully that day will come soon. However, Indian Orthopedic Association (IOA) has decided to celebrate 4th August as “Bone and Joint Day” to mark it as its day of formation.
This year it has been decided to make world record by doing 5000 free surgeries on 3rd, 4th and 5th August by members of the association all over India. This record is being made under supervision of World Record Academy of USA.
This information while sharing with the Alive News Correspondent Shafi Shiddique, Dr. Suresh Arora President IMA, Faridabad said the aim is to get one member one surgery that will be totally free surgery for selected patient and it will be documented in all manners. He further said during this, local Medias as well as local NGOs shall be involved in the proceedings so as to make it more authentic. The cases all over India will be reported to National Headquarters at Delhi, where all data will be collected and presented before WRA for getting recorded.
