Faridabad/Alive News: Today, on 24 April 2025, a ceremony was organized in Alankar on the premises of DAV Public School NH-3. This ceremony not only makes the newly elected students aware of responsibility but also introduces them to the sense of duty. The ceremony began with the arrival of the chief guest. The chief guest of the program was Mrs. Jai Shri Chaudhary, the founder, president, and director of Udaan Institute. Her personality is an example in itself. She not only serves as a guide but also a source of inspiration for the students preparing for the administrative services examination. The respected principal of the school, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya welcomed her with bouquets, and the students also greeted her with great enthusiasm. The program started with a song. The head boy and head girl were selected in the program. The names of the captains, vice captains of all the houses, and the members of the student council were selected. Abhiraj was chosen as the head boy and Shweta as the head girl. Tarun Pandey and Mehar were chosen as the vice head boy and vice head girl. All these students are very disciplined and hardworking. Dance is also a beautiful medium of expression. In this series, the students of DAV School NH 3 presented a colourful programme.
In other categories of the student council, sports captain, creative head, technical head, photography head, literary head, cultural head, and the main student related to dance and music were chosen. The streets of posts are always filled with the feeling of responsibility, which instils happiness as well as a sense of duty in a person’s mind. The beauty of this ceremony was enhanced when awards related to sports were distributed.
The talented students of the school won many awards.These are as follows: Sunil Thapa, Jaspreet, and Harshvardhan won gold and silver medals respectively in the DAV zonal competition boxing. Garvit won the gold medal in the long jump, and Rishabh won the bronze medal in Taekwondo.
Yash Dahiya won the gold medal in archery, Tamanna Gulia won the silver medal, and Dev won the bronze medal. In the D.A. Zonal Competition held in Hisar, the under 17 boys won the silver medal, and the girls in under 14 and 17 also won the bronze medal. In the All these students deserve congratulations. The fruit of hard work is always sweet. The program concluded with Shanti Paath.
At the end of the program, the principal of the school, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya thanked everyone and gave sweet blessings and inspirational words to the children. The head girl Shweta delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
