“Dance isn’t just dance… It’s magic! Something that sets you free!”
Faridabad/ Alive News: With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students, an inter-house dance competition was organized by D.A.V. Public School, NH3, Faridabad for the students of classes III to X. The theme of the competition was “Traditional”
The competition started with a great zeal and enthusiasm. Young DAVites were thrilled to be a part of colorful, energizing and vibrant event. The performances encompassed various styles- western, contemporary, classical, hip-hop. The choreography, rhythm and synchronization and presentation of all the students were par excellence. Every dance performance was unique as every dancer is a unique being throbbing with life.
Nervousness, excitement and enthusiasm would be an understatement to describe the atmosphere that filled the courtyard of the school. The untiring effort of children was a treat to watch. Happiness of the children was amply evident with applause and appreciation. Zestful participation from members of all the four houses – Virjanand , Shradhanand, Hansraj and Dayanand made the inter-house dance competition a runaway hit. In the closely contested competition Dayanand house claimed first position and Virjanand house won the second position.
Meanwhile, the Principal, Ms Jyoti Dahiya, congratulated the winners and appreciated performance of the children. She also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.
