The meeting was chaired by State President Dr AP Setia, while Presidents and Secretaries of all local branches were present. It was informed that the Health Minister Anil Vij has been saying now that Govt shall implement central Clinical establishment act. However, till recently HM and ACS to health Ministry had declared that a modified CEA has been drafted and shall be implemented in Haryana. Health Department of Haryana on behalf of Govt and IMA had been discussing the Haryana CEA for the last one year and out 80 amendments suggested by IMA more than 40 were accepted by Govt.

Dr Setia the State IMA President explained in detail the differences between central act and the amended Haryana act. The central act is much more harsh and draconian. It is anti people and anti doctor, she stated.
