Faridabad/Alive News: Golden Lions Club Sukarma of District A-2 organized a free eye check-up camp on Tuesday at DAV Public School, Sainik Colony Sector 49. This is Organized under the guidance of GLS Neelam Khanna and School Chairman GLS Madhu Omcheri, the objective of the camp was to check the eyesight of the students and provide free spectacles to those who were found to have weak eyesight.
A team of eye-doctors from AIIMS was brought by Sudhir Rakhyan who conducted a comprehensive eye checkup of the students of different classes as post Covid the screen time of the students has increased considerably. They examined the eyes of the students and gave valuable feedback and suggestions for the further line of action.
The students were also apprised about the importance of prioritising eye health. At the end of the camp, a chocolate was given to the students. 900 students and staff benefitted from the eye check-up. The timely intervention of the school helped them to focus on their studies in a bettermanner. Next camp will be conducted soon by the Club in the school.
