Chandigarh/ Alive News: Health Minister Anil Vij taking strict action against Fortis Hospital, Gurugram has ordered to remove it from the panel of the state government in the wake of the death of a seven-year-old girl during treatment, for which her parents were charged Rs 16 lakh.
His ordered was on the basis of the report of an investigation team constituted under Dr Rajiv Vadhera, Additional Director General of the Health Department, directions had been issued for the registration of an FIR against the hospital and cancellation of the licence of its blood bank.
Besides, the Haryana Urban Development Authority had been directed to ascertain the possibility of cancelling its land lease, Vij added.
