Faridabad/Alive News: The Pre-Primary Segment of D.A.V Public School, Sector-37, celebrated the festival of Dussehra on 19 October, 2023. This festival reflects the importance of the victory of good over evil. Students of Class II sang a melodious devotional song Ram Ki Nikli Sawaari.
Little children of UKG gave a captivating dance performance. The blooming buds of nursery, LKG and UKG were given the form of Ram, Sita Hanuman etc. Eco-friendly effigy of Ravana was burnt. On this occasion, all the children took a pledge to always follow the path of truth.
School Principal Deepti Jagota apprised the students about the importance of the festival and encouraged the students to take a lesson from Ramayana and always follow the right path. He said that no matter how many difficulties one faces, truth always wins in the end.
