Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Police in collaboration with J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, today organized an awareness event under ‘Police ki Pathshala’ is a campaign which aims is to empower youth to understand the basic laws and help prevent further crimes in the society apart from protecting themselves.
The programme was addressed by the officials of Faridabad Police including Sh. Surender Singh, Sh. Jitender Kumar, SHOs, Cyber Crime, Ballabgarh and Sh Virender Singh, popularly known as Traffic Tau in Faridabad Police, on the topic ‘Cyber Security, Road Safety and Say no to drugs’. The activity was conducted by Dr. Sonia Bansal, Director, Industrial Relations Cell and Dr. Shruti Mittal, Director, University Computer Centre and Digital Affairs.
The Police officials informed the students about the various safety precautions followed by case specific administrative measures to be taken. The officials also enlightened the students on the ‘Consequences of Substance Abuse’ which causes a lot of problems, including academic difficulties, health-related issues (including mental health), poor peer relationships, and involvement with the juvenile justice system.During the programme, short videos related to cyber security were also displayed.
