Faridabad/Alive News : On August 22, 2025, Faridabad Model School students visited Reliance SMART Superstore to gain real-life learning experiences. The visit aimed to help students understand how a supermarket works and connect their classroom lessons with practical knowledge.
During the tour, students explored different sections of the store such as groceries, fruits and vegetables, home furnishings, footwear, kitchen and electrical appliances, stationery, and toys. They learned how products are arranged in categories, purchased, billed, and paid for.The store’s staff and teachers guided the students through the mart, explaining the process of smart shopping and making wise choices. The visit also helped students relate to concepts like “places in the neighbourhood,” “healthy vs. junk food,” and the use of mathematics in real life.
The session was interactive and informative, making the learning process fun and engaging. Overall, it was a valuable experience that helped students better understand the working of a supermarket.
