Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School, Sector-31 with ‘Eco-friendly Diwali Celebration’. Decorated with lights, lanterns and vibrant hues, it was a vibrant spectacle that enveloped the entire school in an ambience of joy, togetherness and hope.To mark the occasion, the young FMSians indulged in pottery activity and got a hands on experience to shape their own clay diyas under the guidance of a professional potter. Further they participated in various other activities like cooking without fire and art & craft. To make this a special and an everlasting experience, students of Senior Wing decorated their respective floors on the theme ‘Women Empowerment and Cultural Heritage’ for Rangoli Making & Class Decoration Competition.
The young FMSians proved that creativity and talent has no boundaries. Students explained the significance of green Diwali, gave message of peace and diversity, ways to curb hatred and violence, through their creations. They made the dream of peaceful co-existence seem possible by united efforts put in by students from all social groups and cultural backgrounds together. The creativity of students as well as their enthusiasm reflected beautifully in their efforts and creations.
FMS Academic Director Mrs. Shashi Bala and Director Principal Mr. Umang Malik appreciated the students for their efforts and blessed the students. Besides sensitizing students about ‘Swachch Diwali Swasth Diwali’ and the ill-effects of crackers, they also emphasized on green, clean and peaceful celebration with family and friends.The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students and staff with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebration wholeheartedly.
