Faridabad/ Alive News: ESIC Hospital NH-3, Faridabad held Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to remember Sardar Ballabh bhai Patel on his birth anniversary. During this, a programme as Run for Unity, in which around 300 employees, doctors including, staff of the ESIC wearing symbolic dresses were flagged off by the hospital dean, Asim Das.
This run was completed at the hospital after passing through B.K hospital, Chimni Bai Dharamshala and DAV College. Later, exhibition, pledge taking ceremony, health checkup camp in factories and quiz contest were also held in the hospital premises.
Giving information about the programme, the academic dean, Prof A.K Panday said that the hospital has been conducting programme in memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel birthday every year, but this year Run for Unity was also a part of the programme. Prof Panday said that the motive of conducting programme was to create a sense of nationalism among youth doctors and staffs. He further said that this Run for Unity was organized, so that people could know that we can win everything with united effort.
