Industrial Tie-ups make it unique

Academia – Industry Interface development is a matter of policy in all the disciplines of FET. The Faculty has tied up with various knowledge partners such as the JBM group of industries for its B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Industry Integrated) programme which includes 6 months structured industrial training in selected industries and assured placement in specified industries subject to meeting of specified academic benchmarks. In the field of Computer Science and Engineering, FET has tied up with IBM to jointly offer B.Tech -Computer Science & Engg. with specialization in Cloud Computing, Business Analytics & Optimization, IT Infrastructure Management, Cyber Security & Forensics, Mainframe Technology, Open Source Software & Open Standards, Graphics and Gaming Technology. The arrangement helps students acquire domain skills in the most advanced areas of IT and provides preferential placements by IT companies.

FET’s B.Tech Electrical Engineering program with specialization in Power Electronics is in association with Su-Kam, India’s largest power solutions Company which has presence in 90 countries worldwide. Su-Kam shall facilitate opportunities for students for industrial visits, industry integrated projects and six months internship.

SAP Academy for Value Addition

In its efforts to provide multi-dimensional academic value addition programmes, FET, MRIU has tied up with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The Community across 4 years is engaged in collaborative learning in software programming, testing and project management to acquire employable skills. To establish a SAP Student Academy at the University Campus to cater to its Functional/ Technical courses on Material Management, Financial Accounting, Sales and Distribution, Human Resources and ABAP, MRIU has partnered with SAP SE (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing).
