Door to Door campaign to curb Malaria, 39 team formed

Faridabad: keeping in view of the following rainy season, now the health department is appearing active to make the city safe from malaria diseases. The health department has prepared a micro plan, in which 39 teams has been molded as district-wise which will hold door to door anti larva campaign. These teams will prescribe to people to clean their surrounding area and will check water stored in coolers as well as tanks.

According to district malaria officer, Dr. Ram Bhagat, 39 teams has been constituted to eye on dengue or malaria patients, in which two health employees in each team has kept and the all teams have been given responsibility as region-wise. They will visit door to door to anti larva campaign in their respective areas. They will check water in coolers including water tanks and several other places where is expected to store water in each houses. They will make people aware that how to make your surrounding places spick-and-span. Apart from this, the department has also formed a rapid response team. For the further precaution the department has ordered to leave Gambusia fish in each pond or Johad of the district. This campaign would be driven with the cooperation of all Gram panchayat and RWA.

Rs-600 fee for checkup

Now district has hit by Malaria, and the district health department has confirmed the first cases of malaria in Kaurali village. After the confirmation, the health department has issued a notification to all private hospital’s lab, in which it has been said that fee for malaria check-up would be charged only Rs-600 and definitely the hospital or lab will be punishable offence if violating the rules.

Sensitive areas

Last year most of malaria cases had been notified in Kaurali village, Chhayansa, Mohana, Chandpur, Fajjupur, Aruaa, Gharauda, Sahupura Khadar, Mnjhawali, Ghudasan, Dulhepar and nearby area of Yamuna. He further said the month of June we celebrate as malaria awareness programme.
