District Magistrate issues notice to sale of fireworks on Diwali festival

Palwal/ Alive News: The district Magistrate Ashok Kumar Sharma has given authority to all subdivisional magistrates to provide temporary license for selling of fireworks on Diwali festival in their respective areas. The order issued by the district magistrate, all respective subdivisional magistrates will issue license to interested people after completing necessary action.

According to the notice issued, fireworks sales will be started from October 28 to 31 till 10 am to 7 pm. during this, additional facility of fire fighting and fire brigade is mandatory. According to the notice, without license anyone cannot store or cell of flammable substances and not only this, anyone cannot be allowed to sell or store of flammable substances in congested area or market and storage of fireworks will not be more than prescribed amount.

According to district magistrate, dangerous types of bombs, rockets and fast-speed of surry etc. sell cannot be used. Sound producing from firecrackers beyond of limit capacity cannot be used. The fireworks sellers will have to arrange additional fire fighting things including dust loaded bucket and water. A fireworks sellers should have to maintain distance around 3 meters to each shop and they cannot stall theirs shops infront of each other, the cracker sales sites must be sufficient to manage the fire squad.

During this, Police incharge, Palwal and all subdivisional magistrate Hodal and Hathin, all executive magistrates including DSPs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Police inspectors, all police post incharge and Palwal City Council executive, etc. will ensure the order of the magistrate and will be authorized to conduct raids.
