Faridabad/ Alive News: A dental checkup and awareness camp was organized at D.A.V. Public School N.I.T. Faridabad. Dr. Priyanka and her team of Metro hospital carried out a comprehensive dental checkup on students of classes VII to IX.
The checkup process included a small checkup for making an estimation of the students’ oral health condition. The camp was initiated to educate students about common dental ailments especially stressing on tooth decay, gum diseases and measures to be taken to prevent them. The students got ample opportunities to interact with the dental surgeons to inquiry and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases. On completion of the dental checkup each student was given a report summary of the diagnosed problem and the recommended dental treatment plan.
At the end the Principal Jyoti Dahiya motivated the students to interact with the dental surgeons and by the end she thanked the team of surgeons for rendering moral and selfless service to the school.
