Faridabad/ Alive News: Dementia Care Home (DCH) located in the city, not only care its patients but lives with them like they are its family members. It’s an example came to see on Sunday, when patron of DCH, Dr Lalit held a birthday ceremony of his 74 years old female patient Santosh Gupta in the DCH compound. Santosh Gupta is a dementia patient and she is here in DCH for the last few months.
On the occasion, Dr Lalit said it is our duty to serve the elderly and create such an environment from which, the patients never feel loneliness. Dr Lalit said every member of the DCH is committed to take care of the elderly at all times. He further said we also invite the children living in slums on every occasion, so the patients can get an outdoor environment.
At the end, Dr Lalit said dementia is deadly disease and ignoring this, memory can go forever. If someone feels the disease then he should consult with doctor immediately.
