Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, Sector 37, hosted its much-awaited Sports Day on Nov 9, 2023 for classes VI to VIII. The School Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota inaugurated the event, featuring competitive Throwball for girls and Volleyball for boys. Participants showcased remarkable agility, coordination, and stamina, igniting the atmosphere with cheers. Aravali House emerged victorious, securing the first position in both events, while Nilgiri claimed the second spot.
Himalaya and Everest clinched the third position in Throwball and Volleyball respectively. Winners were honoured with trophies. The Principal in her address said sports is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance, patience, discipline and teamwork. She had appreciated the efforts of the Sports Teachers in honing the students’ talents suitably. The Supervisory Head Ms. Adarsh Sharma’s constant encouragement and applause added to the jubilant atmosphere, making the day a memorable celebration of skill and sportsmanship.
