“Good Health is Above Wealth”
Faridabad/Alive News: Keeping the above thought in mind, the school management organised a talk on “Health Awareness – Varicose Veins” for the staff members on 4th March 2025 under the able guidance of the school Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota. The session aimed to educate attendees on causes, symptoms, prevention and treatment options for varicose veins.
Through the presentation, Dr. Jaisom Chopra, a Vascular Surgeon of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi explained the factors that increase the risk of Vascular Veins, which include prolonged standing, genetics and lack of exercise. Certain preventive measures like regular movement, leg elevation, compression stockings and healthy diet were advised.
The seminar was highly informative and relevant for teachers as they gained valuable insights into managing and preventing varicose veins. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal.
