Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School NH 3 N.I.T. with collaboration with Rotary Club Inspire Delhi and BLK Max Hospital ,Delhi organized Cervical Cancer Vaccination Camp and an Education Fair on 16 October 2024. The Cervical Cancer vaccination dose was for the students of classes V to XII. This was the second dose given to the girls . The first dose was given on 15 February 2024.
Taking into account that being vaccinated at age of 9 – 18 years is a highly effective way to prevent this infection. 106 girls were vaccinated to protect against HPV types 16 and 18. President Arvinder Singh ,Vandana Bhalla Bajaj incharge of BLK Hospital , Delhi Umesh and his team were greeted wit the planters . Their team followed all the safety measures during this process.
Education fairs and webinars provide an excellent opportunity for students to learn about different colleges and institutes, all at one place. More than 15+ universities representatives from renowned Indian educational institutions/universities showcased their professional programs and courses at Edu Fair. The interesting features of Fair were career counseling, new streams andavenues. Students from prestigious schools visited the fair and got expert guidance from well qualified teachers and professionals.

The event was headed by Ruhi Dhingra- a certified career coah and analyst. She has more than 20+ years of experience and counseled more than 4 lakhs students. She is lead career counselor with BBC News. The event was a good platform for students to keep themselves updated about the latest courses and careers. The students got a chance to interact with representatives of institutions and got to know about the prospects of different courses. Principal Jyoti Dahiya appreciated the efforts of the medical team for their support and praised the efforts of university representatives for guiding the
students.
