Faridabad/Alive News: Swachh Bharat Diwas will be observed on 2nd October 2024 as a tribute to Father of Nation, on his Jayanti. The theme of this event was “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata” with focus on clearing of dirty and difficult garbage spots (black spots), recognize the contribution of sanitation workers, celebrate the achievements over the past decade and also reaffirm our commitment to Sampoorna Swachhata.Considering the importance of Swachhata in schools and to sensitize the children and community members about the cleanliness through school and community based initiatives, it has been decided to observe Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024 in all the schools across the country from 14th September 2024 to 2nd October 2024.
On this occasion, classes LKG to VII participated in various activities. The list is as follows-slogan writing and Painting on ‘Swabhav Swachhata Sanskaar Swachhata’, was conducted in the school. Students prepared wonderful posters and slogans. They wrote thoughtful slogans on the topics given and the posters made were very colourful. Cleanliness drive was conducted in the school to remove thegarbage and waste with the help of teachers.
Quiz on ‘Swabhav Swachhata Sanskaar Swachhata’, Importance of waste Management and Elimination of Single Use plastic etc. Satvik of class U.Kg. presented the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi ji and Paarth and Reyansh of class I delivered the lines on Mahatma Gandhi ji. A Street Play/ Nukkad natak was performed by students in the nearby areas to educate and entertain while promoting cleanliness initiatives.Awareness Rallies with students and teachers with slogans on Swachhata Hi Sewa and ‘Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata’ theme to create awareness in the community.School Principal motivated all the students and suggested them to follow principles of Cleanliness.Overall the event was a success.
