Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Public School, Ballabhgarh organized a Mega Health Checkup Camp for the age group of 3 years to 12 years on Saturday, 4th November 2023. This camp was in collaboration with Advanced Child and Dental Care Clinic. The aim of the camp was to promote health awareness and wellness among children and their parents. The camp started with a warm welcome by the school officials who gave a brief introduction of the school and its teaching methods. and praise for the school in various areas.
The health checkup was conducted by a team of doctors, Dr. Shalu Goyal, MBBS, MD Pediatrics and Dr. Parvendra, MBBS, who examined the children for various parameters.The camp also included a lecture by renowned pediatrician Dr. Shalu, in which he discussed how to take care of oneself in the current environment. He stressed the importance of balanced diet, regular exercise, adequate sleep and hygiene for the physical and mental health of children.
Along with health check-up, children participated in various competitions and received gifts, certificates and refreshments. The winners received special prizes. The school children showcased their talent and skills in the dance performance, which was a blend of classical and western styles.
The camp concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Ms. Namita Sharma and Pre-Primary Coordinator Ms. Vandana Chaudhary, who thanked the parents and doctors for their cooperation and support. He expressed hope that the camp would inspire children and parents to adopt a healthy and positive lifestyle.
