Faridabad/Alive News: In a splendid celebration of Arya Samaj Sthapana Diwas, Hindu Nav Varsh and the birth anniversary of the esteemed Padma Shri Awardee Sh. Punam Suri Ji, DAV Public School, Sector 49, organised a grand 77-Kundiya Havan on its premises. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director of Manav Rachna Schools, Guests of Honour, Seema Trikha, Former Minister, State of Higher Education, Haryana, Former MLA, Haryana and Mr. Puneet Bhatia, Managing Director of Vidya Laxmi Steel Pvt. Ltd. & Samrat Steels, Faridabad.
The sacred ritual began with Vedic chants, Havan, symbolising purity and enlightenment, followed by speeches on Arya Samaj’s significance and Hindu New Year celebrations. The distinguished guests praised the school’s efforts in nurturing values-based education while balancing modern education and global perspectives.
The event was also a heartfelt tribute to Sh. Punam Suri Ji, recipient Padma Shri, President, DAV CMC, Chancellor, DAV University, Former Managing Editor, The Daily Milap, a distinguished alumnus of British Institute of Management, London, U.K., an exemplary leader, educationist and visionary, whose contributions to the field of education and social reform have been unparalleled. As the President of the DAV College Managing Committee, his relentless efforts in reviving Vedic traditions and modern education have transformed countless institutions across India.
The event was meticulously organised under the visionary leadership of Principal Sh.
