DAV School-49 celebrated of Primary Wing ‘Vividha–A Spectrum of Joy’ with great enthusiasm

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, Sector-49, celebrated its annual function for the Primary Wing, ‘Vividha – A Spectrum of Joy’, with great enthusiasm and vibrant performances. The event was graced by the chief guest- Neera Tomar (associated with BJP as State President of Disciplinary Committee), Chairperson – Madhu Omchery, various Principals of play schools and other distinguished guests.

The Principal, Shri Rajan Gautam, extended a warm and eco-friendly welcome to the guests by presenting them with potted plants. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, DAV Anthem and the auspicious lighting of the lamp, setting a serene and respectful tone for the day.

The cultural extravaganza that followed was a vivid display of talent and creativity. The tiny tots of Class II left the audience spellbound with a dance based on Vedic mantras, performed in the form of yoga, symbolising peace and harmony. Another devotional representation by Class II saw Zumba fused with spiritual themes.

Class I students brought the enchanting tale of The Pied Piper to life through a rhythmic and engaging dance performance, paired with a cheerful pom-pom dance that filled the hall with energy. The divine mantra ‘Aaigiri Nandini’ was beautifully brought to life by Class II students through a Bharatanatyam performance.

Class III presented a thought-provoking and empowering performance titled ‘Srijan aur Shakti – Nritya ki Abhivyakti’, showcasing the power and creativity of women. Adding an international flair, Classes IV and V mesmerized the audience with a Spanish dance. The highlight of the day was a skit, ‘The Witty Saga – A Tribute to Tenali Raman’, performed by students of Classes IV and V. The humour, wit and theatrical excellence of the students left everyone entertained and impressed.

The Chief Guest,Neera Tomar applauded the school for its impeccable blend of Indian and Western values. She praised the students, teachers and parents for their efforts and extended her best wishes to the school for its future endeavours. The event concluded on a positive and patriotic note with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the Shanti Path and the National Anthem, leaving the audience with a sense of joy and pride in the school’s accomplishments.
