Faridabad/ Alive News: DAV NH-3, NIT, Faridabad conducted Kindergarten Convocation Day on March 24, 2017 in the school grounds. The smart and tiny tots dressed in graduation robes and caps marched in a row, along with their class teachers. Dr. N.K. Uberoi (Chairman of the school & vice president of DAVCMC) was the chief guest while Dr. Suniti Ahuja (Associate Professor of DAV Centaury College & wife of Dr. Satish Ahuja) was special guest on this occasion.
The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony is first of its kind in the education history of DAV NH-3, NIT. The programme began with lightening of holy lamp, as a tribute to Goddess Saraswati by the chief guest & other eminent personalities. Thereafter, the principal address the gathering, showing and broadcasting accolades and laurels notched by the students for excellence in curricular and co- curricular activities. Muskaan & Abhay of class 1 welcomed the gathering with their thoughtful words.
Dr N.k Uberoi in his convocation address complimented the graduates on their achievements, also congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities & gave a few tips to the parents and teachers in training and bringing up the children. He said we need to teach the children the basic manners and teach them how to respect their elders, teachers and parents and that we need to train and bring up the children in all aspects – socially, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
This was followed by the distribution of graduate diplomas to the tiny tots along with a photo-shot with their class teachers. The formal programme concluded with music, dance and skit performed by class 1 & 2 students, which was appreciated by all gathered.
While, the principal Jyoti Dahiya addressing the gathering said today we stand proud of a new beginning, as our little ones move forward from kindergarten to grade three. These little Ones that are receiving their first diplomas will be our future high school graduates, moving forward to yet another new beginning in their life chapters. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day to the little ones as they received their KG Graduation Day Diploma’s from the guests. May God bless these tiny “graduates” as they continue their education in the main stream of the school.
At the end, class 2 students Kartik & Vachi, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the management, principal and teachers in the form of vote of thanks.
