Faridabad/ Alive News: DAV NH-3, NIT, FBD celebrated Gurupurab with great zeal and fervor to mark the Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev. The programme started with recital of MOOL MANTRA (EK ONKAR) by the students of class LKG & UKG. Then Sonal of class II (B) delivered a speech on Guru Nanak Dev which focused on Guru’s teachings and tenets of universal brotherhood. Serenity floated in the air with the humming of the holy hymns and it paved the way for a very fruitful and productive day. The highlights of the programme were “Awal Alah Noor Upaya” shabad sung melodiously by little toddlers of class II. Then shabad “Jo Mange Thakur Apne Te” was also recited by Varanjot of II B.
It was a spiritual morning where the entire school learnt that by practicing Naam-simran, sadhsang, Seva and can seek the blessings of Lord Almighty. The principal Jyoti Dahiya along with staff and students joined hands in celebrating the Gurupurab of the founder of sikh religion Guru Nanak Dev.
