Faridabad/Alive News : DAVNH-3, NIT celebrated the special occasion of Mother’s Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. All the mothers were especially invited for a celebration in school with their bundles of joy. The event was initiated with Gayatri Mantra followed by DAV gaan. Little ones presented Poems, songs, and speeches echoed sentiments of admiration and thankfulness towards mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures, emphasizing their unwavering support and endless sacrifices.
Each mother was crowned with a handcrafted tiara, ring and hand made bands specially made for the occasion.
An array of fun-filled games and activities like Catch the coins, Rolly Polly , Musical Chairs, Ramp Walk, Balloon bursting and many more were organized in which both the mother and the child participated together as a team. The winners were awarded by the Principal for their outstanding performances. At the end school Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya expressed profound gratitude to the children, parents and the teachers for their enthusiastic participation in making the celebration a resounding success.
Reflecting on the day’s events, she emphasized the importance of nurturing and celebrating the spirit of love and gratitude towards mothers, fostering a culture of appreciation and empathy within the school community. The program concluded on a joyful note, all the mothers were invited on stage to dance with their children on the foot tapping tunes . The entire event was applauded by everybody present and will always remain etched in the memory of one and all.
