Faridabad/Alive News : Kindergarten and Primary Wing of D.A.V Public School, Sainik Colony, Sec 49, Faridabad celebrated Winter Carnival on 24 December ’22 with great enthusiasm. Decorated with ballons of vibrant hues, colourful flowers and beautiful rangoli, the school had an ambience of joy and celebrations. Following the Vedic tradition, the carnival commenced with the solemn rendition of Gayatri Mantra.
The Principal of the school, Mr. B.K. Das welcomed the audience in his heartwarming address. A special assembly was organised in the School Auditorium by the students of class I. It kicked off with an energizing display of Dumbbells, Aerobics Workout and Yoga presentation. The tone for the rest of the programme was pleasantly set by the engaging cultural items. Lohri Folk Dance and Christmas Carols presented by the little fledglings won everyone’s hearts. An array of Games, and Food stalls were set up in the School Lawn and Compound. The educational and fun games, namely Copy and Draw, Give me Five, Try your Luck, Coins n Bucket, Knock the Pyramid, Ring the Cap and several more saw an impressive participation.
The tiny tots entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way while participating in Drawing & Colouring Competition, and Cartoon Making. Bouncy Castle as well as Tattoo Making was a big hit among the blossoming buds. The added attraction of the Carnival was the free Medical Camp for kids. The Dental, Eye and Speech Therapist screened the students of the age group 2 -8 years. The parents blessed the tiny tots and appreciated the efforts of the school in their impressions.
