D. A. V. School Sector-37 organised fourth 100 Kundiya Hawan

Faridabad/Alive News : D. A. V. Public School, Sector-37, in association with the DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC), organised the fourth 100 Kundiya Hawan at the Community Centre, Sector-31, Faridabad, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to social reform through its sustained crusade ‘No Nasha Nation’.

The initiative stands as a powerful response to the growing threat of drug addiction, which continues to undermine the moral and physical fabric of the nation’s youth.

Inspired by the visionary guidance of Padma Shri Dr. Punam Suri, President, DAVCMC, and Mr Yogi Suri, National President, Arya Yuva Samaj, the school, under the dynamic leadership of its Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, undertook this meaningful endeavour as a decisive step towards nurturing a healthier, drug-free society.

The spiritually charged occasion was graced by Mr Anil Nagar, Municipal Councillor and Organisation Secretary, Dr. Ashok Kumar Punjabi, Retd. Army Medical Corps., Dr. Sanjeev Bhagat, Retd. Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Faridabad, and Ms. Isha – Counsellor and Psychologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and DPS, Mathura Road. United in purpose, the dignitaries voiced their collective resolve to eradicate this social evil and lauded the school’s initiative and extended their full support to the mission of a drug-free India.

The enthusiastic participation of teachers, students, parents, and members of the community lent greater strength and significance to the occasion.

The sacred hawan was performed with profound devotion and collective participation, symbolising the power of unity and shared responsibility. During the ceremony, all present took a solemn pledge to spread awareness against substance abuse and to actively work towards realising the vision of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat.’

The programme concluded on a note of hope, determination, and renewed commitment, reinforcing the school’s enduring role in social responsibility and nation-building.
