Faridabad/Alive News: The Science Summer Camp, organised by the Education Department of Haryana, concluded today at D.A.V. Public School, Ballabhgarh. The camp, which ran from June 3rd and concluded on June 24th, aimed at fostering scientific, technological, and mathematical development among students.
Enthusiastic learners from various locations across the district participated in practical skill-enhancement activities.During the camp, students interacted with experts from IITs and engineering colleges, imbibing valuable insights into science and mathematics through engaging games and activities. They also gained hands-on experience in rocket construction and enjoyed a special night sky watch.
As part of the camp, students visited the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) in Faridabad and the National Science Centre in New Delhi. Additionally, they benefited from the mobile lab provided by National Council for Science and Technology Communication DST,New Delhi .The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. Lohit Chhabra (Director – New Web Technology), Dharmaveer (Retired IAS and Director – S.P.S.T.I.), and Ms. Kiya Dharmaveer (Principal Secretary). Their presence added significance to the event.
