Faridabad/Alive News: D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad, under the aegis of DAVCMC, New Delhi, hosted the D.A.V. Haryana State Volleyball Tournament for Boys and the Cricket Tournament for Girls from 26th to 28th September 2025. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, fitness, and life skills among students.
Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota warmly welcomed all the participants, coaches, and teachers, assuring them of a fair and memorable tournament. A total of 359 players from 22 DAV schools across Haryana took part in the U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories. The matches displayed strength, teamwork, and determination, teaching players to handle both victory and defeat with grace.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 28th September, where winners proudly received their trophies and medals. Principal Ms. Jagota praised the young sports stars for their excellent performances and appreciated the efforts of the coaches and sports teachers for ensuring smooth organisation.
The best-performing players were selected to represent Haryana in the National Level Games recognised by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), scheduled for November 2025.
The tournament concluded with a Shanti Path, marking the end of an energetic and inspiring sporting event.
