D.A.V. Gian Prakash Chopra School Celebrates Diwali with Joy and Tradition

Faridabad/Alive News: D.A.V. Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49, celebrated the festival of Diwali with great excitement and devotion. The school was beautifully decorated, and the students of Classes I and II presented a colourful and meaningful programme.

The event began with the lighting of lamps and the chanting of Lord Ganesha’s mantra “Vakratundaya Mahakaya,” to seek blessings and spread positivity. Students then performed a lively dance and song, “Aaj galli galli Awadh sajaenge,” showing the return of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana to Ayodhya. The performance highlighted unity and happiness among people of all religions.

A special act on Samudra Manthan the story of gods and demons churning the ocean for the elixir of life added to the celebration. The young students, dressed in traditional clothes, performed with great confidence and expression, winning everyone’s hearts.

Principal Rajan Gautam addressed the gathering and spoke about the true meaning of Diwali. He encouraged students to celebrate safely and responsibly, focusing on light, knowledge, and goodness. He also extended warm wishes to all.

The event ended with Shantipath and the National Anthem, filling everyone with peace and pride.
