Faridabad/ Alive News: On the direction of Police Commissioner Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Crime Branch Badkhal Inspector Vimal Kumar and his team have successfully managed to apprehend a member of cab looting gang, the accused Ashlup s/o Kamruddin is native of Raniyal Khurd Palwal.
The inspector Vimal Kumar told the accused was nabbed from Mevat on a tip off a special source. After arresting the accused, the recent cab loot case of Sue No. 317 has been settled in the central police station on May 5, 2017. He said this gang targets to the drivers of Ola-Uber cabs in the night on highway, they (the gang) dumped the drivers in the forest by tightening their hands and legs, and fled with valuables.
All members of the gang belong to Mewat. The four members of this gang yet to neb, but will be arrested soon and the incident is expected to resolve, he added.
