Faridabad/ Alive News: Faridabad police is continuously moving towards golorious tasks. Expressing an example of its hard work, Crime Branch Sector-56 nabbed 4 accused of an Interstate bike theft, and acquired 36 bikes from their position. Dr Hanif Qureshi, Commissioner of Police, Faridabad honoured the crime branch team with cash prize as well as appreciation letter.
Addressing mediapersons on the occasion, the Commissioner, Hanif Quresh said team of crime branch sector-56 has nabbed 4 accused of Interstate Vehicle thefts, who steal vehicles only in Delhi-NCR. This gang has steal around 50 above vehicles in Delhi- NCR, in which about 37 stolen cases are from Faridabad, but after arresting them, 34 cases out of them have been settled. He said 36 vehicles have been recovered from their position, in which 28 are bikes while 8 are scooty. The Commissioner said they used to move in malls, railway station and different places of the city and used to break the lock of motorcycle from master keys and steal it.
He said the crime branch team has done better work, for this the team has been honoured with Rs 10,000 cash prize and appreciation letter. During this DCP Crime Sukhvir Singh, ACP Crime Rajesh Chechi and Anand Kumar Incharge of Crime Branch-56 were present on the occasion.
