Faridabad/ Alive News: The Commissioner of Police, Amitabh Singh Dhillon honoured his policemen with cash and testimonials for their bravery to shoot a member of Hariya gang in police encounter. According to information received from the police department the Hariya gang has been committed more than 32 crimes in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The gang’s crimes as 9 in Faridabad, 14 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 10 in Bulandshahr and 2 in Noida have been registered.
Significantly, on a tip-off that the gang is planning grievous crime and going in a Brezza car and the gang was seen in Arua village this time. Over this information, Police Station Tigaon’s SHO and crime branch-65 incharge, Varun Dahiya came in action and set up their team in the area.
The Hariya gang fired on the policemen and in retaliation one member of the gang was killed, but two more managed to escape due to the dark night.
However, the CP honoured the SHO and crime branch sector-65 incharge, Varun Dahiya and their teams with cash prize and testimonial letters.
