Congress followers protest over Petrol and diesel hike price

Faridabad/ Alive News: The District Congress unit protested over increasing price of Petrol and diesel in the state here at the district headquarter, Sector-12 Faridabad on Friday. Apart from this, the congress followers also burnt an effigy of the Prime Minister. The protest was staged under the aegis of Tarun Tabatiya, the District President of Youth Congress, Faridabad.

 Meanwhile, addressing the gathering, the district president, Tarun Tebatiya said in 2014 Petrol price was Rs 71.50 when crude oil was Rs 107 barrel and now crude oil price has fall down Rs 53. 88 barrel, so petrol should be sold by Rs 40 litter, but the BJP government is not reducing the hiked price just for its own benefit. He said this time petrol and diesel is being sold Rs 70.52 and 58.69 in Delhi. He warned the government that the district unit will further protest if the government does not reduce price.
