Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Communication & Media Technology of J.C. Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana, conducted a Master Class on “Podcast Production”. The Lecture was conducted at the Preview Cum Conference room for UG final year students. The resource person for the Lecture was Mr. Mayank Deep, Senior Sound Engineer at Bhopuwala Creative Solutions, Noida.
The Lecture commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the department.
The purpose of the master class was to give students an understanding of podcast production techniques. Students got practical exposure to recording and editing podcasts. Students also got exposure to the latest technologies related to audio equipment. Students also got an insight into the internal workings of the Radio Production room.
Students experienced how live programs take place through radio stations. And also understood the technical aspects of radio broadcasting. The Lecture was practical-oriented, and students got hands-on exposure to audio recording, editing, and mixing.
The Lecture was conducted under Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the department. The chairperson congratulated and appreciated the effort done by the faculty member and promised to organize more practical-oriented workshops for students in the future. Dr. Bharat Dhiman, Assistant Professor of the department, coordinated the Lecture.
