Faridabad/Alive News: The CISCE Zonal Chess and Karate Tournament was successfully organized at Jiva Public School with enthusiastic participation from several leading schools, including The Scottish High International School, Shikshantar School, Lt. Atul Kataria School, and The Shri Ram School Aravali.
The Chess Tournament was held on 20 May 2026, while the Karate Competition took place on 18 May 2026. Students from Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories participated with great discipline and sportsmanship.
Shikshantar School performed strongly in the chess tournament by securing top positions in several categories. In karate, students from Jiva Public School, The Shri Ram School, and The Scottish High International School emerged as winners across different age groups.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of Chairman Shri Rishipal Chauhan, Director Chandralata Chauhan, Academic Head Mukta Sachdeva, and Principal Dr. Narjeet Kaur.
Chairman Rishipal Chauhan said that sports help students build confidence, discipline, leadership, and teamwork, while Principal Dr. Narjeet Kaur thanked all participating schools and coaches for making the event successful.
