Faridabad/Alive News: Children’s Day was celebrated with great happiness and enthusiasm at D.A.V NH-3 NIT FARIDABAD, on November 14. Students from kindergarten to senior classes enjoyed a fun-filled day with activities, performances, and celebrations.
The event started with a warm floral welcome for the Principal, Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, by the Nursery and LKG children. The little ones looked adorable as they greeted her with flowers. A child dressed as Chacha Nehru led the cake-cutting ceremony, reminding everyone of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s deep affection for children. The kindergarten students also enjoyed birthday celebrations, dancing, and a movie show of Atkan Chatkan.
Primary and middle school students took part in various sports activities. Grades 4 and 5 presented a well-coordinated Dumb Bell Drill. Class 7 students played an exciting football match, while a volleyball match added more thrill to the day. Athletics races for Classes 3 to 5 kept the young participants energetic and motivated.
Students of Classes 6 to 10 attended a special rhythm session by Mr. Ankur Sharan. The engaging beatboxing and rhythm techniques taught during the workshop made it a memorable learning experience.
The senior students of Classes 11 and 12 presented a special assembly. Reah from Class 11 recited a heartfelt poem, while Priyanka from Class 12 delivered an inspiring speech. Akshita from Class 11 also motivated everyone with her thoughtful message. The assembly included a melodious group song and a graceful dance performance by Ramabha and Akshara of Class 11.
Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya praised the efforts of students and teachers for creating such a lively celebration. She wished all the students a very Happy Children’s Day and encouraged them to stay curious, confident, and kind.
The day ended with cheerful faces, happy moments, and unforgettable memories, truly capturing the essence of Children’s Day.
