Faridabad/ Alive News: Children are the future of every nation across the world. It is today’s generation which can go ahead and make the world a better place. Children become the happiness of the society and home as well as future of the country. We cannot ignore their involvement and contribution in the life of parents, teachers and other related people all through the life. Children’s Day was celebrated by DAV, NH-3, FBD to pay tribute to all the children all over the world. It is just not to celebrate the work of our first Prime Minister, but also to make the little light lamps of the country make special and lovely.
The celebration started with honouring the chief guest, Tarun Sharma who is a professional motivational speaker, keynote business conference speaker, seminal leader and corporate retreat facilitator. As a speaker, he has addressed several schools, colleges and organisation in India. Playing flute by Harsh, XI and Tabla by Jaspreet XII in a perfect sync was a treat for ears. Performance by the tiny tots and the students of classes III and IV were liked by everyone. Cheshta and Simmi of VIII shared incidents from the life of “Chacha Nehru”. Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body a school cabinet was formed at DAV, NH-3, fbd.
The Headboy Rishab XII, the Headboy Yashika XII, along with Co-Head boy Nikhil XII, Co-Head girl Anshika XII, House Captain and Prefects were honoured with sashes and badges by the school. The student council took an oath to live up to the expectation and work with sync with the mission of the school. In the sport category Boys Captain, Aryan XII, Boys Vice-Captain Neeraj IX and girl Captain Simran XI and Vice-Captain Brishti XII took pledge to shoulder the responsibilities.
The Chief Guest stressed on the need to be focused to achieve goals and to inculcate leadership qualities. The school Principal reminded that with position come certain responsibilities towards themselves, their school and peers. They were congratulated and admonished to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.
Various activities & competitions (BEST OUT OF WASTE) were also performed by the entire kindergarten. Another attraction of the day was magic show which was organized by Primary Plus, in which students enthusiastically participated in the magic tricks .An hour of the Magic show took them to the land of fantasy. The day came to an end with the chanting of the “Shanti Path”.
