Faridabad/Alive News : An educational visit to All India Radio was organized by J.C. Bose University’s Department of Communication and Media Technology for the students of BAJMC 3rd Semester. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor, Dr. Taruna Narula and Production Assistant, Mr. Pankaj Saini of the department. The visit was organized under the guidance of the chairperson of the department, Dr. Pawan Singh. The aim of the visit was to give students an understanding about the working and structures of All India Radio.
Through this visit, students got practical exposure to the studio, control room, and function of equipment used in the AIR Studio. Students also got an opportunity to meet and interact with the staff of All India Radio. Students also explored the latest technologies related to studio equipment’s. Students also experienced how live programs take place at radio stations and also understood the technical aspects related to radio broadcasting.
All India Radio Team members spoke to the students about the importance of AIR in this Digital World and motivated the students to listen to All India Radio for accurate knowledge and information.
The visit was interactive; and meaningful for the students in which, they learned about the importance of All India Radio and understood its work and structure. In the end, students also enjoyed a cultural event ‘Meri Mati-Mera desh’ was organized by All India Radio. The live performance by ITBP ( Indo- Tibetan Border Police) and their group made the visit memorable and remarkable.
The visit was done under the guidance of Dean, FLAMS, Mrs. Poonam Singhal and Chairperson In charge of Communication and Media Technology, Dr. Pawan Singh and under supervision of Department’s Assistant Professor, Dr. Taruna Narula and Production Assistant, Pankaj Saini. Vice Chancellor of J.C. Bose University, YMCA, Professor S.K. Tomar and Registrar, Dr. Sunil Garg congratulated for the successful event and said that such educational tours should be organized in future also so that media students get practical exposure.
