Biology workshop holds at Homerton Grammar School

Faridabad/ Alive News: A ‘Biology Workshop’ at Homerton Grammar School, Faridabad Sector-21 was organized in the 2nd week of December 2016, where students were given a challenge to think innovative to solve today’s environmental problems facing us.

The students responded with solutions exhibiting critical problem solving thinking with the help of models and projects. These models were prepared by the medical students of classes 11th and 12th. The challenge for class 11th students was ‘Deforestation and significance of Reforestation’. The students recommended naming plants and trees along with their importance so that society from the very beginning knows about trees and the value of saving trees.

The students of class 12th made Project on Global Warming, Acid Rain and Overflow of Sewage. During this, educationists from NIIT University, Mr. Anand and Mr. Parveen visited the school on this occasion. They appreciated students’ hard work and congratulated students for their wonderful work. This workshop was organized under the supervision of their Biology teacher, Mrs. Mamta Gandhi.
