Faridabad/Alive News: The Govind Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) donated two laptops and rupees 53,100 to Saraswati Vidya Mandir, located in Bhudutt Colony, on Saturday.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the singing of the National Song, Vande Mataram. Students welcomed the guests with a song and presented a colourful dance performance.
Speaking on the occasion, BVP Govind Branch President Ram Bhardwaj said that the main aim of the Parishad is to serve the needy and support social institutions. He added that the organisation works for the upliftment of society through cooperation and active participation of its volunteers.
Several members of the Parishad and Saraswati Shiksha Samiti were present at the event. School Principal Shivani, along with teachers and students, also attended and expressed gratitude for the support.
The donation is expected to help improve educational resources and benefit students in their learning.
