There are about 40,000 Self Help Groups (SGHs) in the state, each group having a minimum of 10 women members who produce quality products through their skills.
The state government is providing loans ranging from Rs. The price of these SGH ranges between Rs 50,000 to Rs 3 lakh. Many SGHs have developed into small scale industries, which are contributing significantly to strengthening the rural economy.
