Basant Panchami Celebrated with Devotion at DAV NH-3

Faridabad/Alive News: Basant Panchami, the festival that welcomes the spring season, was celebrated with great joy and devotion at DAV NH-3, NIT Public School. The whole school campus was filled with happiness, positivity, and the bright colour yellow, which represents knowledge, prosperity, and new beginnings.

On this special occasion, the Principal, Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, along with teachers and students, gathered to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom.

A special morning assembly was organised in the school premises. A beautiful yellow-themed corner was decorated for the celebration. The programme began with Saraswati Pooja. A nicely decorated idol of Maa Saraswati was placed, and students and teachers offered flowers, books, and musical instruments, praying for wisdom and success. The prayer created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere in the school.

Nayra from UKG recited a lovely poem dedicated to Maa Saraswati. A colourful dance performance by students of Grade 1 (A & B) became the main attraction of the programme.

All pre-primary students came dressed in bright yellow outfits. They also brought yellow food items in their tiffins and offered yellow flowers while praying to Goddess Saraswati.

The celebration ended with an inspiring message from the Principal, Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, who highlighted the importance of quality education for a better future and gave her blessings to all students.

The Basant Panchami celebration beautifully reflected devotion, culture, and the true spirit of learning.
